Rens Buchwaldt has been a member of the Executive Board of Wageningen University & Research since 2017. He returned to the Netherlands in early 2002 after having worked in the US, England, and Sweden. After his return he took up the role of financial director at Koninklijke Ahrend and was a member of the Board of Directors of flower auction Royal FloraHolland.

Christianne van der Wal has been a deputy for the Gelderland Provincial Executive since 5 June 2019, on behalf of the liberal VVD party. Her portfolio comprises economy and innovation, mobility (excluding public transport), aviation, regional agenda 'Gelderse Corridor en FruitDelta', project Rail Terminal Gelderland and project 'Beter Bereikbaar Wageningen'.
